There's this class of activists that can't manage to fit their platform on a flyer, so they need you to stop and speak with them... and they make me really uncomfortable. Their lead in sentence is always a little misleading. It'll go something like:
"Do you have a minute for the environment?"
Which sounds like there's a physical manefestaion of the environment in a limo around the corner and it'd like to set up a meeting. And, I'd be cool with that. Some living embodyment of the planet wants to speak with me, I'll clear a little bit of time in my busy scedual. I just imagine it...
"Good afternoon, David."
"Good afternoon. How are you today, Mr. Environment?"
"Oh, not bad. I'm feeling a little under the weather." *Chuckles*
"I'm sorry."
"I say, that was a joke boy. Get it... under the 'weather'. Cause that's where the environment is located mostly."
*Puase*
"I don't get it."
"You know what. Get the hell out of my limo."
But, of course, when I go over to the guy he actually meant do I have a minute for him and his hippy oranization. And I think, "Alright, that's the last time I'm falling for this."

The environment waiting for you in a limo makes it seem like the environment is a pervert. Don't accept candy from him!
Hmmm... I had just meant for him to be an important person with the limo. Maybe I'll change that.
fyi, I imagined the environment having the voice of Foghorn Leghorn.
Whoops... I'm on somebody elses computer.
I'm a girl. How embarassing.
Indeed I was confused for a moment. I got the Foghorn Leghorn comment, Boy I say boy...
But yeah, if you want to change the environment, you're gonna need to run for and achieve a very high level of office, or create an incredibly successful company (profit or non) to help it.
Either way, think globally, but chances are you can only act locally.
Also, is there a whole in the top of the limo due to all the carbon monoxide the car is outputting? Or are we talking a hybrid limo? Because then it will output smug.
You don't do a good me. I would work on that. I still say this one worked better in the notebook than in the blog.
I thought the comic was funny, but the comments are dang funny too. :)
